Five years after its inception, Pizza Press is having a growth spurt, announcing this week plans to open nearly 150 restaurants worldwide over the next two years. The goal, according to a company press release, is to have 300 restaurants in the U.S., Mexico and China by 2020.
That proliferation of the brand begins with 30 locations this year, including the first outlet outside of California in Austin, Texas, and a new flagship opening in Anaheim, California, March 30. The brand has signed franchise agreements for units in Texas, Nevada and North Carolina with locations in China and Mexico opening by the end of 2018.
Leadership is seeking expansion partners for outlets in the Pacific Northwest, Southwest, Southeast and Canada.
