Firenza Pizza is set to nearly double its size in the next six months, thanks to its April merger with Persona Wood Fired Pizzeria, a news release said.
Eleven new locations will open over that time to join the current 14-store footprint of the combined businesses. By year’s end, the chain will also grow from covering eight states to 12, and the brand will be set for a rapid expansion that includes nearly 100 other units in development.
In July, the first new location opens in Los Angeles, Firenza’s fourth California site. Additionally, new locations will open by year’s end in Houston and Dallas in Texas, as well as Charlotte, Raleigh, Kernersville and Lexington in North Carolina. Other locations will open in Kansas City, Missouri and Secaucus, New Jersey, along with Beaverton, Oregon and Boise, Idaho.
