New York-based Atomic Wings, a 25-unit chicken wing franchise, has signed a 15-unit area representative deal with Timir, Pritul and Hiren Patel to expand in Richmond, Virginia, and The Triangle, a metropolitan area anchored by Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The trio has experience in gas stations, hotels and retail businesses.
“Our goal is to open at least 10 locations within five years throughout Virginia and North Carolina,” Timir Patel said in a company press release. “We definitely want to open and operate some ourselves, but we’ll also be franchising some out as well. Our goal might change depending on how fast we move, but we’re taking it one step at a time.”
