Cookie fans can get out their footie PJs and animal-themed onesie loungewear — Insomnia Cookies, known for its late-night sweet treats, has announced that its sixth annual Pajama Party will take place Sept. 17.
Insomnia has now made National PJ Party Night an official event, which will take place from this year going forth on the third Tuesday night in September.
This year guests who visit one of Insomnia’s over 300 locations in the U.S. and Canada on the 17 wearing their PJs will receive free cookies, giveaways and temporary tattoos.
Insomnia Rewards Club members will receive one free classic cookie if wearing their PJs, a classic 6-pack of cookies for $10 or an $18 classic 12-pack in-store. The first 25 customers in line get an official PJ Party T-shirt and temporary tattoo with a bar code
Those “insomniacs” still displaying their temporary tattoo on their skin in-store from Sept 18-Sept 30 will receive one free classic cookie daily with any in-store purchase. (the promo is only good for one cookie per day through Sept. 30, or until the temp tattoo fades, whichever is first).
The chain has also created exclusive branded merch for the annual event, which will be available in store and in the brand’s online store.
Online Insomnia is promoting the PJ party on its social channels, extending the festivities by giving away $100 gift cards via social media. Customers who post on Instagram or TikTok from a PJ Party and tag @insomniacookies will be entered for a chance to be one of 10 random $100 gift card winners.
The cookie chain, which started on college campuses in Philadelphia in 2003, is known for its late night pick-up and delivery hours, often open until 1 A.M. or later.
